Hello fitness fans! I'm quite excited to report that I am still loosing inches off my waist and thighs. I'll post measurements in a bit. I've started doing my Winsor pilates again, too. I have a bad lower back and the all turbo jam was starting to take it's toll. I love to do turbo and push myself, but after a few weeks of working out hard every morning, by body is starting to rebel. So, I'm adding in my Winsor and the combination is feeling magnificent. The Winsor workout adds to much stretching, even the cardio. I need that! She warms us up a little slower, too, and I think that helps as well. I workout at 5 am and my body is cold turkey. In turbo jam I have to pay attention to my body and not push myself before my body is properly prepared.
I read an article that actually cheered me quite a bit. It was about how we workout and eat right and loose 10 pounds. Then we start to slack off or have several days were we eat poorly. It turns into a downward slide and sooner than you know it those stubborn pounds are right back... your backside! I took courage because it made me say "not me!" I had a bit of a slip when Paul and I went to the BYU/TCU game and had a couple heavenly days together. Then that weekend wasn't so healthy either. But, I'm stopping the slide there. And I think that's what makes the difference! The slide will occur... Thankgsiving, Christmas, your birthday or anniversary. Really, are you not going to have cake and ice cream on your kid's birthday? The magical difference is the will to stop the slide! I'm doing baby!

Hey Caryn, so I am a religious reader of your "health blog." I read your post about the 10 inches in 10 days challenge and feeling like I needed a jump start I decided to take it on. I followed the meal plan that came with my Windsor Pilates DVDs and worked my butt off at the gym. I lost 7.25 inches and lost a whopping 6 pounds!! Anyway I ended tonight and I wanted to share the news. Me and hubbs are going on a little trip but I am determined not to let me gorge myself while we are gone. Thanks for being the inspiration!
