I simply remember my favorite things... and then I don't feel so bad!

I can belt it out just as well as Julie Andrews! Here are some of my favorite things to eat!!
For breakfast!! One of my favorite meals is: waffles, eggs, & bacon.
I use Hodgson Mill Whole wheat buttermilk pancake mix (I get it at Kroger),

and the original egg beaters,

and 1 strip of turkey bacon!
I eat one waffle, w/sugar free syrup, 1/2 cup of eggs (sometimes I through in frozen spinach and dried, minced, onion) and one slice of turkey bacon... all for under 300 calories, and just three grams of fat from the bacon!!

My other breakfast I like is a serving size of shredded wheat 'n bran with a sliced banana and skim milk!!

My favorite mid-morning snack is serving size of Fiber one original w/skim milk and 1/2 cup blue berries.

Have you tried their granola bars? The chocolate chip one... DELIGHTFUL!!! I'm hooked! Just 140 calories!


For lunch! I love a nice, fat sandwich: pumpernickel bread,

turkey lunch meat, spinach,

and hummus.

I love a handful of Sun chips! These babies offer 18 grams of whole grain per serving!


I love laughing cow light cheese! Mm! Especially, on 100% whole wheat wheat thins!


Food like these taste good, keep me full longer, and I feel good when I eat them! I like to rotate through my favorites! I like to eat for taste so if something is new and tasty it's more tempting for me to eat lots of it. I know what these taste like, yummy, and I'm happy! I also through in lots of salads, fuji apples, bananas, and any fruit that is in season. I also love carrots and dip... make the ranch dip, but use plain lowfat yogurt instead of sour cream.
